Broken back Anglo-Saxon longsax. The blade is 20 inches with about a 6" gripp. fittings are silicon bronze, leather, and the gripp is quarter cut darkenned curly sugar maple.
This is a scary cutter, It's a nasty blade design, no wonder everyone was afraid of the early Anglosaxons!
