Admiral L6 (blade) curly and birseye maple and silicon bronze. the blade's around 25 inches long, marquenched.
the ancient hebrew inscription is the psalm about the shadow of death, psalm 23 paragraph 4 " Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." the customer requested that, and that the sword have a lion and an ox on it so the pommel is an ox head and the guard is a lion head.
This was my last commision, now I will be consentrating exclusively on spec work to sell on my website, so I have a bunch of traditional viking and germanic stuff coming up, with lots of composit pattern welding and carving and casting.
