Welcome, this is the internet site of Jake Powning. Here, I have images of my work, a description of my artistic philosophy and a few essays relating to various aspects of the craft of sword smithing.

I am a sword smith working in the Celtic and Norse traditions. I hope that I can be of some assistance to you, either by passing on information or by providing you with a finely crafted sword.
